Program advising
Academic Standards
When a student’s cumulative GPA falls below a 2.0, advising puts supportive measures in place to help them regain good academic standing and continue making progress toward their goals. To make sure students have the guidance they need, a registration hold is placed on their account. Before enrolling in future classes, students will meet with an advisor to access resources, clarify next steps, and build a plan for success.

Milestone Advising
Milestone Advising is designed to help students build strong connections with academic advisors early in their journey so they feel confident, supported, and informed as they plan their degree. At designated points, students will receive a Milestone Advising hold along with clear instructions for how to connect with advising and complete the required steps. These interactions ensure students receive timely guidance, stay on track, and have the support they need to move forward successfully.
